Greetings,

it might be just totally my fault at some point, but well, I'll share the problem with you anyways.

Episode 3 and 4 you subbed have some kind of a problem regarding the audio and subtitles. After a few seconds they drift off and are not synchron with the video material anymore.
However, reloading a point of the file by using the seek bar fixes the problem - for a few seconds.

Tried both files with various players( WMP, MPC, amm. ).

Regards,
- Void

Are you sure it's not your CPU, because my computer has no such troubles with them at all.

Wouldn't say so, first of all it's not even HD, I also had no problems with 1 & 2.

But as I thought already, it seems to be me. In that case never mind - I'll fix it somehow.

Hmm. I think it is a codec problem. Let me look into this. I will come up with a solution.

Hello, sorry for the delay in a response, but I'm also getting the same problem as you, void.

1 and 2 work fine, but 3 and 4 have really bad sync issues if left playing.

The only codec pack I have installed is CCCP and I primarily use WMP Classic.

I did get it to work when I tried it with VLC (no sync errors), but that came with its own set of VLCish problems (screen freezing at random spots, etc) but would rather not have to watch them there if I could help it.

Thanks for any help.

Basically, install CCCP with MPC-HC, reset all of the options to the defaults ones, save and close, open with MPC-HC and you're ready to go.

That didn't work for me (was pretty much what I was doing before posting the first time), but I finally found a solution about an hour ago!

I installed the latest CCCP beta and so far been having no problems.

So I'm happy to report that Durarara!! is the Winrarara!!

Well, glad you found the answer, actually it was me who fucked up, the server would upgrade the mkvtoolnix package and I didn't realize. I will start muxing again with version 4.0.0 that's "bug free." Again, that will be done for the batch, so for now you have to either use the CCCP Beta or re-mux the file with v3.3.0 or v4.0.0.
